A letter from a desert island

Preparation

Where are you and who is with you?
- I am in an island of west of Cuba.
Do you like the place? Why? Why not?
- I hate the place because I am very single.
What can / can’t you do on the island?
- I can’t play some games with somebody because I am single but I can find a lot of fruit.
What do you do every day?
- I only eat, sleep and play games every day.
Is there much food and water?
- There is a lot of fruit and I drink an rainwater.
What do you eat and drink?
- I eat fish and fruit and I drink a lot of water.

Task

My name is Giovanny Pico and I’m writing this from an island in west Cuba.
I hate the place because I’m single in this island.
Life is very, very boring after sixteen days on this island. I can’t play any games with anybody because I am alone but I can find a lot of fruit.
I only eat, sleep and play games every day. It’s very hot and sometimes it rains. There is a lot of fruit and I drink rainwater. I eat fish and fruit and I drink a lot of water.
